Between June 2024 and April 2026, a man calling himself Justin Thomas Howarth took $430,000 from me. He is based in the Columbus, New Jersey area and is linked to GPU Gold LLC. The contact lasted 22 months. It started with what seemed like a straightforward crypto mining hardware deal and turned into something much worse. He uses personal relationships and romantic connections to build trust with victims before defrauding them. Multiple victims have been identified.
He said he could source cryptocurrency mining hardware with guaranteed returns. I sent roughly $130,000 over several payments. The hardware never arrived. Not one unit. Every time I asked, there was a new excuse.
He came back with a new pitch — a mining farm that would generate even larger returns. Over the following months, I sent another $300,000 via Western Union and cryptocurrency. The returns never materialized. The farm may not even exist.
He kept changing the wallet addresses. Every time I asked why, there was a new excuse — technical issues, compliance requirements, new partnership structures. Whenever I pushed back, he alternated between reassurance and urgency, always framing the next payment as the one that would unlock everything.
Every transaction is traceable. He used PYUSD and all payments were sent to multiple KYC-verified accounts on Venmo. I have the full transaction history documented.

He always wanted payment via Western Union cash pickup or cryptocurrency. Never a traceable bank transfer.
The wallet addresses kept changing. Each time there was a new reason — compliance, new partnerships, technical issues. None of them held up.
Every delay had an excuse, and every excuse came packaged with reassurance and urgency. “We're almost there. Just one more payment.”
When I pushed back, he would frame continued payment as the only way to unlock the returns I was already owed. Classic sunk cost manipulation.
